Fiji

Capital of: Suva

Suva is the capital of Fiji, located on the southeast coast of Viti Levu. It became the administrative center in the late 19th century when the British moved the capital from Levuka due to limited space for expansion; today, Suva hosts Parliament and most national institutions and is Fiji’s largest urban area. To remember it: Suva = the “Seat” of government (both start with S). The other options are major towns with different roles—Nadi is the main international gateway with the airport and resorts nearby, Lautoka is a key sugar and port city, and Labasa is the principal town on Vanua Levu.
