Eswatini

Capital of: Mbabane

Mbabane is Eswatini’s administrative (executive) capital, housing the prime minister’s office and most government ministries. Although Lobamba is the traditional and legislative capital—home to Parliament and royal ceremonies—most global references list Mbabane as the capital because it handles day-to-day governance. Situated in the cool Highveld of the Mdzimba Mountains, Mbabane developed as the British colonial administrative center. Remember it this way: M for Ministers = Mbabane (administration), L for Legislature = Lobamba (parliament and royalty). Manzini is the commercial hub, and Piggs Peak is a northern town once known for gold mining.
